Would you like to use the value of your smartphone without selling it? At Grüne’s Leihhäuser, you have your phone valued on site and receive a fair offer. You can also pawn tablets in the same way.
When you pawn your smartphone, it serves as security for a pawn loan. If you accept the offer, the agreed amount is paid out to you immediately. Once you have repaid the pawn loan, you get your smartphone back.

To pawn your smartphone, bring it in person to a Grüne’s Leihhäuser branch. There you will find out what amount we can offer you for it. You then decide for yourself whether to accept the offer.

If you accept the offer, you conclude the pawn agreement. The agreed amount is paid out to you immediately.

Whether your smartphone is suitable for pawning depends on the device and its value. We check every phone individually in the branch. This applies to current models as well as to older devices that still have a corresponding value.

Pawn or sell your phone
If you want to make use of the value of your smartphone, you do not have to sell it for good. When you pawn your device, you can get it back after repaying the pawn loan. When you sell it, on the other hand, you part with it permanently.

Pawning can therefore be a good fit if you do not want to part with your smartphone permanently. To get it back, you repay the pawn loan plus the interest and monthly costs incurred. The same requirements and process generally apply to tablets.

While your smartphone or tablet remains with us as a pledge, your personal data can stay on the device.
If the device is not redeemed and later goes to auction, we delete the personal data stored on it beforehand.

A charger, original packaging or proof of purchase can support the valuation. They are not always required.

Before your visit
How to prepare your smartphone or tablet for pawning
A little preparation makes it easier to check your smartphone or tablet in the branch.

Back up personal data
Back up your personal data before your visit.

Sign out of user accounts
Sign out of your Apple ID, your Google account or other linked accounts.

Disable device protection
Turn off device or theft protection features such as “Find My”.

Remove the screen lock
Remove your PIN, password or other locks so that the smartphone can be checked.

Don’t reset
You do not need to reset your device to factory settings before pawning it. This way, your personal data can remain on the device. If you have already reset it, pawning is still possible. For the check, it may be necessary to set up the device again.

Fully charge the device
Please bring your smartphone or tablet as fully charged as possible. This allows us to check its functions straight away. A charged battery is also better suited for the subsequent storage.

Bring the matching charger. If available, you can also bring the original packaging or proof of purchase.
